Gonzalez appliance has been serving the Indio community in California for more than 5 years. When we met Gonzalez he needed someone to help him redesign his website. Gonzalez appliances business focus has been service and repairs of refrigerators, stoves, dryers, dishwashers and sewing machines. However, h wanted to change the focus of his business to sales.
Understanding the problem
The current website was developed many years ago and needed some updating. Therefore, we redesigned his entire website keeping in mind the need of his business and his focus along with with the user-centric experience.
The sales representatives were sending emails with individual pictures of each product in inventory making the purchasing process long or non-existent.
The customer was not able to view the page on mobile because the website did not have a mobile version.
The newly redesigned website prioritized the new focus of the company by placing appliances sales as primary focus and appliance services as secondary. We implemented a mobile version to fill the needs of today’s user. We also added an appointment box which linked directly to their email account to fit the needs of the business. By combining the needs of users and companies, it helps to optimize and automate the process bringing higher returns on their investment.
Now sales representatives can send one link to the catalog of their inventory with descriptions, details about the products and price. The website redesign reduced sales closing time by 89%, consequently helping sales increase by 70% on appliances and services.
